2025 U-20 AFCON: Sanusi charges Flying Eagles to secure World Cup ticket

Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Mohammed Sanusi has charged the Flying Eagles to go all out for a win against Senegal.

The Flying Eagles will take on Senegal in a quarter-final fixture at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations on Monday.

The encounter will hold at the Suez Canal Stadium, Ismailia.

Sanusi, who visited the team at the their Mercure Hotel training ground on Saturday evening stated that the World Cup ticket is crucial for the country.

‘The NFF president is passionate about youth football program and he’s doing everything possible to ensure this team gets the best,” Sanusi declared.

“The world cup ticket is crucial for you and us so I urge you to play out your hearts to ensure we secure the world cup by reaching the semi final. ”

The winner of the game will earn a spot at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
