2025 U-17 World Cup: Flamingos to face Canada, France, Samoa in Group D
Nigeria’s Flamingos will face Canada, France, and Samoa in Group D at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, DAILY POST reports.
The draw ceremony for the ninth edition of the competition took place at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Rabat, Morocco, on Wednesday.
The Flamingos will face a difficult test against Canada and France in the group.
Samoa will be making their maiden appearance at the U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The top two teams from each of the six groups will advance to the Round of 16, as well as the four best third-placed teams.
The Flamingos exited the competition at the quarter-final stage last year in the Dominican Republic.
Bankole Olowookere’s side finished third in the 2022 edition in India.
