Athletico Bilbao duo of Nico, and Inaki Williams will both miss the second leg of their Europa League semi final against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday.

Nico Williams was not included in Ernesto Valverde’s squad on Wednesday.

He also missed Sunday’s LaLiga game against Real Sociedad, while his older brother Inaki was taken off in the 62nd minute of the 0-0 draw.

The Spanish side have confirmed that Inaki remains out of action due to a thigh injury, but they did not provide an official update on Nico’s condition.

The siblings have been left out of the matchday squad for the trip to Manchester.

Athletic’s top scorer, Oihan Sancet is also expected to miss out of the second leg clash.

Manchester United ran out 3-0 winners in the first leg in Spain thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro.

Valverde’s side will also be without the suspended centre-back Dani Vivian through suspension following his red card in the first leg.
