WAFU B U-17 AFCON: Golden Eaglets to face Burkina Faso, Benin Republic in Group B

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have been drawn in Group B of the 2025 WAFU B U-17 Championship with Burkina Faso, and Benin Republic, DAILY POST reports.

The draw ceremony for the annual competition took place in Yammosoukro, Cote d’Ivoire on Thursday.

Hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Niger Republic, Togo, and Ghana are drawn in Group A.

The competition will run from September 20 to October 3, Yammosoukro, Cote d’Ivoire.

It will serve as the qualifying tournament for the 2025 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

The Golden Eaglets failed to qualify for the last edition of the U-17 AFCON.
