WAFCON 2024: Super Falcons clash will be tough — Algeria coach
Algeria head coach, Farid Benstiti says the clash against the Super Falcons of Nigeria will be a tough test for his side.
The Fennecs will take on Nigeria in their last group game at the ongoing 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday (today).
The North Africans have amassed four points from their opening two games.
Algeria needs at least one point against the Super Falcons to guarantee a place in the quarter-finals.
“This kind of match makes a team grow. If we manage to put Nigeria in trouble, then we’ll have reached a new level,” Benstiti told CAFonline.
DAILY POST recalls the Super Falcons defeated Algeria in a double-header friendlies last year.
Justine Madugu’s won the first friendly 2-0, and thrashed the North Africans 4-0 in the second friendly.
