VIDEO: Mazda Car Razed On Kubwa Expressway, Woman Escapes
An accident on Wednesday morning along the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja left a Mazda saloon car destroyed by fire.
The incident happened near Dawaki, just before the Dawaki Modern Market, at a spot often occupied by roadside vendors.
Our correspondent present at the scene reports that the sole occupant of the vehicle, a woman, managed to escape without injury.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at the time of this report.
When THE WHISTLER contacted, an official of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Fire Service, Kubwa Division, Mrs. Hope Uwadoneh, said, “We are not aware of the incident and no one contacted us.”
The Federal Fire Service has advised motorists to ensure regular vehicle maintenance and keep fire extinguishers handy to prevent such incidents in the future.
