Udinese Terminate Contract Of Super Eagles Striker, Success
Udinese have confirmed the mutual termination of the contract of Super Eagles star, Isaac Success after three years.
The club confirmed the decision on social media that an end has come to the relationship with the former Watford striker.
The statement reads, “Udinese Calcio announces that it has reached and signed an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract with the footballer Success Isaac,
“Thanks to him for the years spent together and best wishes for the professional future.”
Success joined the club from Watford in 2021, but a combination of injury and poor form contributed to his inconsistency at the Italian club.
He scored six goals and 17 assists in 83 appearances across all competitions for Udinese.
The 28-year-old started his career with BJ Foundation Academy in Edo before moving to Europe, where he has represented the likes of Granada, Watford, Málaga and Udinese.
He made his Super Eagles debut in March 2017 coming on as a substitute in a 1–1 draw against Senegal at The Hive Stadium in London.
