UCL: Vital Victory for Arsenal and FC Bayern in Quarter-final First Leg

Kai Havertz secured a vital victory for Arsenal Football Club against Portuguese side Sporting CP in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night, news.ng reports.
The visitors, Sporting CP, thought they had achieved their aim after holding Arsenal to a goalless draw for the full 90 minutes, until Kai Havertz gave Arsenal the advantage, which was confirmed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in the 90+1 minute of added time.
The two teams will prepare for the return leg next week to secure a spot in the final four of the competition.
Elsewhere, FC Bayern Munich outclassed Real Madrid, beating the La Liga giants 2–1 at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Former Liverpool player Luis Diaz and England international Harry Kane were on target for the Bavarians in the 41st and 46th minutes, respectively.
However, Kylian Mbappé was able to find the back of the net for Madrid, reducing the deficit to 2–1 in the 74th minute.
The two-legged fixture will conclude next Wednesday at the Allianz Arena in Munich, promising to be another exciting night.
