Nigeria’s Flamingoes have departed the country for a two-week training tour in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The players and officials travelled to Santo Domingo aboard a Turkish Airline from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Head coach Bankole Olowookere unveiled a 21-player list for the competition on Monday.

The Flamingoes are expected to play friendly games while in Santo Domingo.

The West Africans are drawn in Group A with the Dominican Republic, Ecuador and New Zealand for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

The Dominican Republic will host the competition from October 16 to November 3.
