Transfer: Turkish club, Caykur Rizespor terminate Azubuike’s contract
Turkish club, Caykur Rizespor have terminated the contract of Nigeria midfielder, Azubuike Okechukwu.
Rizespor made the announcement on their official website on Thursday.
“We parted ways with our professional football player Azubuike by mutual agreement,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
“We would like to thank Okechukwu Godson Azubuike for his contributions to our team and wish him success in his future career.
The 27-year-old joined the Black Sea from another Turkish club, Istanbul Basaksehir last summer.
The defensive midfielder made 14 league appearances for the club.
He is expected to join Turkish First Division club, Erzurumspor.
