Transfer: Ndidi set to join Besiktas from Leicester City

Nigeria midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is expected to complete a permanent transfer to Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas this week.

According to reports, Besiktas have reached agreement with Leicester City for Ndidi’s transfer.

Besiktas, who are managed by former Manchester United head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer agreed to activate the £9m release clause in the player’s contract.

The 29-year-old is set to travel to Istanbul for his medical.

Ndidi will sign a three-year contract with a one-year extension.

The defensive midfielder has been at Leicester City since 2017.
