Transfer: Man Utd close to agreeing £51m deal for PSG’s Ugarte
Manchester United are on the verge of signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte, according to GFFN.
The fee for the player will be around £51m (€60m).
PSG signed Ugarte from Sporting last year for a fee of around €60m.
The Ligue 1 champions have been holding out for the same fee all summer.
Ugarte impressed at the start of last season but lost his place in Luis Enrique’s side.
However, United boss Erik ten Hag believes that the 23-year-old can make a big impact at Old Trafford.
Ugarte was left out of the squad for PSG’s Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre ahead of the move.
