Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has claimed Rafael Leao has never been an option for Arsenal this summer.

Romano, responding to a fan on Threads, said Leao will stay at AC Milan this season.

A user with the handle @c.h.u.c.h.uu asked “Are Arsenal still interested in Leao?”

Romano replied with “Never been an option. Leao stays at Milan.”

Arsenal is believed to be in the market for a specialist left winger this summer.

The Gunners have been linked with Leao, Real Madrid’s Rodrygo and Anthony Gordon of Newcastle.

But according to reports, they will only make a move if either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli leaves the Emirates.
