Transcorp Hotels Reports 49% Revenue Surge in Q3 2025, Posts ₦72.31 Billion

Transcorp Hotels Plc, Nigeria’s leading hospitality company, has announced exceptional third-quarter results for 2025, with revenue climbing 49% year-on-year to ₦72.31 billion, up from ₦48.49 billion in the same period last year.

The hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc also recorded a 36% increase in profit before tax (PBT), which rose to ₦22.4 billion from ₦16.44 billion in Q3 2024.

The company’s gross profit margin expanded to 76%, compared to 71% in the previous year.

“This impressive Q3 performance underscores our time-tested strategy focused on cost discipline, operational efficiency, and putting the customer at the heart of everything we do,” said Emmanuel Nnorom, Chairman of Transcorp Hotels Plc. “We remain committed to delivering sustainable profitability and long-term value for our investors.”

The strong financial performance comes as the company continues to leverage its recently commissioned 5,000-seat Transcorp Centre, which is positioning Nigeria as a premier destination for international conferences and events.

“Our Q3 2025 results reflect our unwavering drive for excellence and our commitment to redefining hospitality in Africa,” said Uzo Oshogwe, Managing Director/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc. “With the success of our newly commissioned 5,000-seat event centre, we are proud to be positioning Nigeria as the preferred destination for global conferences and events, while scaling sustainable value for our shareholders.”

According to Atinuke Kolade, Group Company Secretary, in a notice on Monday, the results demonstrate “Transcorp Hotels’ sustained focus on operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer-centric innovation, reinforcing its leadership in Nigeria’s hospitality sector.”

The company’s growth strategy emphasizes sustainability and innovation, with a particular focus on the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. The new Transcorp Centre is described as positioning Nigeria as “Africa’s hub for world-class” MICE events.

Adding to its impressive quarter, Transcorp Hotels recently secured a triple win at the prestigious Seven Star Luxury Awards, claiming titles for Best Luxury Business Hotel (Nigeria & Africa), Best Luxury Event and Conference Centre (Nigeria & Africa), and Best CEO of the Year.

News.ng reports that the company continues to strengthen its position in Nigeria’s hospitality sector through what management describes as a combination of operational excellence, strategic infrastructure investments, and customer-focused service delivery.
