Tinubu’s Two Years Better Than Buhari’s Eight Years – NWDC Member
President Bola Tinubu has recorded more achievements in just two years than former President Muhammadu Buhari achieved in eight years, a member of the North West Development Commission (NWDC) has declared.
The NWDC member, Aminu Suleiman, made the declaration on Sunday while comparing the two All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administrations.
Suleiman spoke in Lagos shortly after paying Sallah homage to President Tinubu at his Ikoyi residence.
According to him, Tinubu is laying a solid foundation for the country’s development, stressing that the president would have transformed Nigeria before the end of his tenure.
“Tinubu’s two years are even better than the past government’s eight years. Given the full privilege of a four-year term, I am confident he will transform Nigeria.
“We are the most populous zone in the North, nearly 19 million people strong. The inclusion of the region in national development planning is a welcome development, and Insha Allah, we will ensure everything goes well.
“Tinubu did it in Lagos. With God’s help, he will do it across Nigeria. Nigerians must trust his leadership and vision,” Suleiman said.
The NWDC board member expressed confidence in the president’s capability to transform Nigeria the same way he transformed Lagos State when he was the state’s governor.
Commending Tinubu for creating the NWDC and four other regional development commissions within two years of his administration.
Other regional commissions created by the Tinubu administration are the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), South East Development Commission (SEDC), South West Development Commission (SWDC) and the South South Development Commission (SSDC). The Buhari administration established the North East Development Commission (NEDC).
Suleiman described Tinubu as a man of vision, assuring that the country would witness stronger growth and development under the administration.
