Tinubu Snubs Sanwo-Olu At Commissioning Of Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road

President Bola Tinubu appeared to have snubbed Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday during the inauguration of Phase 1 of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Lagos.
In a video shared by the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, Tinubu was seen entering the venue as dignitaries stood to welcome him.
He proceeded to shake hands with Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri, Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu, and others — but appeared to bypass Sanwo-Olu, who was visibly waiting to greet him.
It remains unclear whether the apparent snub was intentional or merely an oversight.
Sanwo-Olu, who was first elected as governor in 2019, clocked six years in office on Thursday.
As a political son of Tinubu, he has maintained a cordial relationship with him.
