A member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has expressed optimism that he does not see anything stopping President Bola Tinubu from winning the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.

Jibrin made this statement on Wednesday while responding to questions in an interview on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.

“I’m a Tinubu person and I believe I cannot see anything that will stop him from winning the election in 2027.

“I like him and he likes me too. I think in a working environment, it’s important that you have a boss that likes you and you like him too, that’s the point, irrespective of party affiliation.”

When asked who he would choose in the presidential race, the Kano NNPP federal lawmaker said he would choose both Tinubu and Rabiu Kwankwaso to work together.
