Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie has listed her current top three African artists.

Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid and Davido were conspicuously missing from the list.

In an interview with ESPN Africa, Alozie, who is currently at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco with the rest of the Super Falcons squad, mentioned Young Jonn, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr as the continent’s biggest music stars.

The interviewer asked: “Who are your top three African music artists right now?”

Alozie replied: “That’s tough. You can’t do that to me [laughs]. No! Okay, Young Jonn, Burna Boy and Ayra Starr.”
