Super Eagles Star Targets Premier League Move

Super Eagles star Moses Simon has refused to rule out a summer move to the Premier League after being linked with a host of clubs ahead of the transfer window.
The Nantes forward has been a key player for the French Ligue 1 side this season, with eight goals and 10 assists in the league.
Simon’s impressive form for Nantes has attracted interest from various clubs in Europe, especially in the Premier League.
The former Levante forward said he is happy at Nantes but won’t rule out a move to the Premier League to hone his football skills.
He said, “Yes, I’ve heard about the interest, and I know my agent is in contact with some clubs. Right now, I’m still a Nantes player.
“I’ve always given my best for this club, and I respect my contract. But of course, every player wants to play at the highest level.
“The Premier League is one of the best in the world. If the right offer comes and it’s good for me and my family, then why not? But I’m not desperate.
“I have peace here in France. It has to be the right project.”
Meanwhile, Simon has been rated as the player with the most take-ons in the French Ligue 1 for the 2024-25 season with 69 take-ons.
The 29-year-old topped the list ahead of the likes of second-placed Auxerre midfielder Gaetan Perrin.
PSG attacker Desire Doue occupies the third spot with 57 take-ons, while Strasbourg winger Diego Moreira is fourth with 57 take-ons completed.
Himad Abdelli of Angers completed a total of 57 take-ons to finish fifth; Olympique Marseille forward Mason Greenwood is in sixth position with 54 take-ons completed.
Simon has been linked with a move to Everton in the summer.
According to reports, Everton has already sent scouts to observe Simon at FC Nantes in recent weeks, with the Super Eagles forward now among their key targets.
Simon has been included in the Super Eagles squad for the Unity Cup in London, which kicks off on Tuesday, 27th May.
