A pair of Solana livestreamers known as Bagwork sparked viral attention over the weekend after claiming to broadcast unreleased songs from rap icons Drake and Future. The stunt pushed their meme coin on Pump.fun to a market capitalization of roughly $53 million, while creator rewards alone brought them more than $83,000 in just two days.
The incident even drew Drake into the conversation. During a live call with streamer Adin Ross, the Canadian star dismissed the claims outright, saying he had no idea who the duo were. According to Bagwork, Ross later contacted them privately asking about the leak, though they allege he never followed up.
The streamers, thought to be teenagers, have built momentum by blending viral antics with their crypto project. One recently ran onto the field during a Los Angeles Dodgers game, while the other was slapped by fitness influencer Bradley Martyn after trying to grab his hat—moments that further fueled trading of their token.
Pump.fun, the platform where their coin is hosted, pays token deployers a percentage of all trades. That structure has allowed Bagwork to profit without selling their holdings, generating about $168,000 in just four days. Their rise comes as the site experiences a boom, with creator payouts topping $20 million in the past week alone.
Despite the hype, the Bagwork token has already slipped from its weekend peak, highlighting both the earning power and the volatility that define this new wave of livestream-driven crypto projects.
