Serie A: Okoye named in Team of the Week
Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has been included in the Serie A Team of the Week, DAILY POST reports.
Okoye contributed to the Zebras’ 1-1 away draw at Bologna.
The 24-year-old’s teammate, Lautaro Giannetti, was also included in the selection.
Okoye, who established himself as the club’s first choice last season, signed a new contract with Udinese on Tuesday.
The shot-stopper was linked with a move to Inter Milan and Torino earlier this summer.
He is currently one of the most highly-rated goalkeepers in the Italian top flight.
