Senator Yar’adua clears air on dumping APC to join ADC

The Senator representing Katsina Central, Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, has denied rumours claiming he is planning to defect from the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Yar’adua debunked the claims that he is set to join the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in a statement released on Sunday night.

The lawmaker described the speculations as baseless and the result of media mischief.

Yar’adua also insisted that his support remains with the APC and President Bola Tinubu.

“I wish to categorically reaffirm my unwavering commitment and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC),” the statement read.

“I urge the press to disregard any speculative headlines suggesting my defection from the party.

“It’s essential to clarify that not all individuals sharing the Yar’Adua surname imply a political association with me,” he added.
