Liverpool talisman Mohammed Salah will compete against Alexander Isak, Virgil Van Dijk, and five others for the Premier League player of the season award.
The nominees were announced on Thursday with Liverpool leading the way with three of their players making the list.
Liverpool’s trio of Mohammed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, and Ryan Gravenberch have been recognised for their part in leading the club to the title.
Van Dijk has played every match for Liverpool this season helping the club to keep 14 clean sheets while Gravenberch has missed only one game all season.
Salah has been the standout player providing goals, and assists for the Reds to win their 20th League title.
He has scored 28 goals, and recorded 18 assists in the Premier League this season.
Salah will be eyeing the award for the second time after winning it the 2017-18 season while Van Dijk won it the following year.
Nottingham Forest are the only team to have more than one player in the list with the duo of Chris Wood, and Morgan Gibbs-White included.
Woods is enjoying a prolific season in the Premier League with 20 goals in 34 matches for the club.
Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak, who has scored 23 goals is also included in the list alongside Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, who has 18 goals and seven assists in the league this season.
Arsenal’s Declan Rice completes the cast as he was rewarded for his impressive performances for the Gunners in yet another disappointing campaign.
In the manager of the year category, Liverpool’s Arne Slot will battle it out with Wolves’ Vitor Pereira, Eddie Howe (Newcastle) and Nuno Espirito Santo (Nottingham Forest), and Thomas Frank of Brentford.
Pereira took over the reins at Wolves in December with the club sitting 19th on the log but he has led them to 10 wins, and two draws in 18 matches to take them to 14th.
Eddie Howe has led Newcastle United to the Carabao Cup trophy this season and he is also closing in on Champions League qualification.
Slot is the favourite to win the award after leading Liverpool to the Premier League title in his first season in England.
