Salah, Slot Win November Premier League Awards

Liverpool talisman Mohammed Salah, and coach, Arne Slot have won the Premier League player, and manager of the month awards respectively for November.
Salah scored or assisted five of Liverpool’s seven goals as the Reds won all three of their Premier League matches to stay top of the table.
He scored the winner in a 2-1 comeback victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, played a part in both goals in a 2-0 win over Aston Villa, and scored equalising and winning second-half goals in a 3-2 turnaround win at Southampton.
He has recorded 21 combined goals and assists this season, the most in the Premier League, four more than Cole Palmer, who ranks second.
The 32-year-old has now won the award six times, with the last coming in October 2023.
He is one away from equalling Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero, who have won the award more times than anyone else in Premier League history.
Liverpool coach Arne Slot was also named Premier League manager of the month after guiding the club to three wins out of three in November.
The Reds scored seven goals in victories over Aston Villa, Brighton, and Southampton
The Dutch manager fought off competition from Fabian Hurzeler and Gary O’Neil, after votes from the public were combined with those of experts to earn his first-ever Premier League award.
Slot was delighted to win the award, he dedicated it to his coaching staff.
He said: “It’s always nice to win something because it means you have won a lot of games, and that is by far the most important thing,” said Slot. “So, winning a trophy like this is the result of winning games – and that’s what I like most.
On the award being a collective recognition for his whole staff, Slot added: “It is, because we win a lot and that’s mostly because of our players but it’s definitely also because of our staff and the programme we have and the facilities we have over here.
“My staff and players will tell you, all of them, that they put a lot of effort into making the players on a daily basis maybe a bit better. It’s not going to work every day but we try to every day.
“And it’s not only my technical staff – it’s the performance staff, it’s the medical staff. Ali [Alisson Becker] gave compliments about the medical staff as well, how much they helped him to come back fit.
“It’s a team performance, not only from the players but definitely also from our staff.”
Slot’s Liverpool were the only team to win all of their Premier League matches in November.
The Reds will return to Premier League action on Saturday against Fulham at Anfield as they aim to further boost their title aspirations.
