Salah’s clinical finishing throughout the season culminated in his 29th league goal during Liverpool’s season finale against Crystal Palace, securing his fourth Premier League Golden Boot. This achievement places him alongside Arsenal icon Thierry Henry as the only player to claim four separate Golden Boot awards in England’s top flight.
The 32-year-old forward’s dominance was emphatic, finishing six goals clear of his nearest rival, Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, who managed 23 goals across the campaign.
Beyond his scoring exploits, Salah demonstrated exceptional creativity by leading the league’s assist charts with 18 assists. This tally exceeded Newcastle’s Jacob Murphy by a significant margin of six, highlighting Salah’s evolution from a pure goal scorer into a complete attacking threat.

Historically, Newcastle’s Andy Cole (1993/94) and Leeds’ Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (1998/99) also led their respective seasons in both categories, though the official Playmaker of the Season award wasn’t established until 2017/18.
Salah’s crowning achievement came through his EA SPORTS Player of the Season award, making him the first player to simultaneously hold the Premier League’s three most prestigious individual honours in a single campaign. This unprecedented hat-trick cements his status among the competition’s elite performers.
The award also places Salah in distinguished company as just the fifth player to receive multiple Player of the Season accolades in different campaigns, joining Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidić, and Kevin De Bruyne in this exclusive group.
Salah’s final-day strike against Palace carried additional significance, bringing his combined goals and assists to 47 for the season. This total equals the Premier League record previously shared by legends Alan Shearer and Andy Cole, who reached 47 goal involvements during the extended 42-game seasons of 1994/95 and 1993/94, respectively.
