Ruud Van Nistelrooy heaps praise on Wilfred Ndidi after Leicester City’s 3-1 win against West Ham

Dutch coach Ruud Van Nistelrooy has heaped plaudits on Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi following his impressive performance for Leicester City against EPL rivals West Ham.

Van Nistelrooy, who spoke with the British media after the game, which ended 3-1 in favour of Leicester City, said that Ndidi had an unbelievable game and covered a lot of ground.

He said that Ndidi and his teammate Soumare won a lot of balls in duels and second balls, and they were good on the ball during the game against West Ham.

“Soumaré and Ndidi had an unbelievable game, covering a lot of distance, winning a lot of balls in duels and second balls, and also on the ball,” the Dutchman told the club’s official website.

“We realise how good the Premier League is and the performances we have to put in to get results.

“The foundation of that togetherness and hunger to achieve something is shown today.

“That reflected in the stands and only gives the players more spirit. That was the biggest win from today. It’s something that is vital. That confidence is so important in football.”
