Russian President, Vladimir Putin has rejected an allegation that he alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un were plotting against the United States of America.

Putin, Xi and Kim Jong Un stood together in the Chinese capital, Beijing, on Wednesday at a massive military parade marking 80 years since the end of World War Two.

The event which saw the unveiling advanced weapons, projected a message of defiance to the West. The rare joint appearance of the three leaders also showed growing ties between their countries.

The display in Tiananmen Square featured laser systems, intercontinental ballistic missiles, giant underwater drones and robotic “wolf” machines, watched by more than 50,000 people and over two dozen heads of state.

Trump, who was not present, lashed out on his Truth Social platform, telling Xi to “give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un as you conspire against the United States of America.”

The Kremlin dismissed the claim, with Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov saying there was no planned conspiracy.

“I would like to say that no one has been conspiring, no one has been plotting anything, no conspiracies,” Ushakov told Russian state television.

“No one even had such a thought, none of these three leaders had such a thought,” he added.

Trump later told reporters he was not concerned, stressing that America still had the strongest military in the world.

Meanwhile, speaking at the event, Xi, warned that the world faced a “stark choice between peace and war, dialogue and confrontation,” declaring that China feared no one.

Putin held a two-and-a-half hour meeting with Kim, after which he praised North Korea for aiding Russia’s war in Ukraine, and invited Kim to visit Russia soon.

Responding, Kim described it as his country’s “fraternal duty” to help Russia as much as possible.
