Police rescue three kidnap victims in Ekiti
Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the safe rescue of three people abducted from Oko Aso Farm, Ikere Ekiti.
It was gathered that the victims were kidnapped on Friday August 1, 2025.
According to a police report, the victims, identified as drivers Kunle Aka Orojo and Deji Akinola, along with a motor boy, Ojo Oluwole, were freed without harm.
The Divisional Police Officer of Ilupeju, Ikere Ekiti Division, disclosed that their release was the result of coordinated bush-combing operations by a combined security force, including the Rapid Response Squad, Anti-Kidnapping Squad, regular patrol teams, and other allied units.
The rescued victims have been reunited with their families, while security operatives continue to track down the perpetrators behind the abduction.
