Police Arrest 4 Suspected Armed Robbery, Kidnapping Syndicate In Rivers

The Rivers State Police Command has arrested four suspected members of an armed robbery and kidnapping syndicate.
The suspects, identified as Solomon Chris, 26; Fabulous John, 26; Wisdom Kalongo, 30; and Wisdom Samuel, 33, were apprehended on August 8, 2025, at about 11:30hrs, by operatives of the Bori Division.
The police responded swiftly to a distress call regarding suspicious activities in the Nkpee Street area of Bori. The operatives recovered several items from the suspects, including a locally-made revolver pistol, one live ammunition, quantities of hard drugs (loud), and criminal charms. Additionally, an ash-colored Toyota Sienna vehicle with Registration No. BNY-758FS was recovered.
According to SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Rivers State Police Command, the suspects are currently in custody, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend other fleeing members of the gang and recover more of their operational weapons.
