Phyno Features Hushpuppi, Burna Boy, Others In 15-Track New Album
Nigerian rapper and producer, Phyno, took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal the tracklist of his upcoming 15-track album set for release on October 4.
The highly anticipated album, titled ‘Full Time Job’, features a star-studded lineup of both international and Nigerian artistes, which includes a collaboration with jailed internet fraudster, Hushpuppi.
International artists on the album include British rappers Chip, Arrdee, and music group NSG.
On the Nigerian front, Phyno enlisted some of the country’s biggest stars, including Burna Boy, Johnny Drille, Cheque, Fave, and Flavour.
The tracklist includes songs such as ‘It’s Nothing’, ‘Back Outside’, ‘Time Of My Life’, ‘Eyes On Dem’, ‘Do I’, ‘Deep’, ‘Nwayo Nwayo’, and ‘Men Don Show Face’.
Other tracks on the album are ‘Grateful’, ‘Nwoke Esike’, ‘Troublemaker’, ‘Pinterest’, ‘Sweet Karma’, and ‘Anthem Ndi Nze’.
Phyno had previously released two singles off the project, ‘Time Of My Life’ and ‘Do I’.
The collaboration with Hushpuppi will come as a surprise to many, given the rift between the two in 2017.
The pair engaged in a heated exchange after Phyno criticised Hushpuppi’s lavish lifestyle on social media.
Phyno, who began his career as a producer in 2003, is known for rapping in the Igbo language. Over the years, he has worked with top artists like Wizkid, Davido, Timaya, Flavour, Ruggedman, Bracket, J. Martins, and Mr Raw.
He has received numerous awards for his unique style, which he attributes to his deep respect for his culture.
