Otti To Flag-Off Construction Of 11km Obehie-Owaza Road

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State is set to flag off the construction of the 11.1-km Obehie-Umudobia-Owaza Road in Ukwa West Local Government Area.
This was disclosed in a press release by the Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, who emphasized the government’s commitment to equitable development across the three senatorial districts of the state.
The construction of the Obehie-Umudobia-Owaza Road is expected to improve connectivity, facilitate economic growth, and enhance transportation networks in Ukwa West LGA and surrounding communities, the government said.
The statement said the project aligns with Governor Otti’s vision of revitalizing critical infrastructure to boost trade, investment, and overall development in Abia State.
The flag-off ceremony which is scheduled for would be witnessed by invited stakeholders, political appointees, community leaders, party members, and residents of Ukwa West LGA.
The statement added that Governor Otti’s administration continues to prioritize infrastructure renewal as part of its broader vision to transform Abia into a modern and economically vibrant state.
