Osimhen tells Napoli to make it easy for him to join Galatasaray
Turkish football expert, Mustafa Göksu has claimed that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen told the club’s Sporting Director Giovanni Manna to make it easy for him to join Galatasaray this summer.
Göksu stated this while evaluating Galatasaray’s transfer agenda on the Arma Sports Youtube channel.
“Osimhen called Napoli Sporting Director Giovanni Manna many times regarding Galatasaray. He said, ‘Pave the way for me, make it easy for me, I will go to Galatasaray,’”Göksu said (via habersarikirmizi).
Göksu also added that Galatasaray will complete the signing of İlkay Gündoğan from Manchester City after securing Osimhen’s transfer.
“Galatasaray will also finalize İlkay Gündoğan. However, they want to announce İlkay after Osimhen,” he added.
Osimhen spent last season on loan at Galatasaray and he is keen to join the Turkish champions on a permanent transfer after snubbing a move to Saudi side Al Hilal.
The 26-year-old’s contract with Napoli will expire in the summer of 2026 and Napoli need to sell him in order not to lose him as a free agent next summer.
