Osimhen Agrees To Join Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen has agreed to join Turkish club Galatasaray permanently ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Super Eagles forward spent last season on loan at the club, leading them to the Turkish League, and Cup double with impressive performances.
Osimhen has been linked with several clubs this summer but he has been unable to seal a move away from Napoli with reports emerging last week that he has been asked to resume pre-season training with the Serie A champions.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray have now submitted an offer to sign Osimhen permanently from Napoli.
He wrote on X: “Galatasaray have sent an initial bid for Victor Osimhen for €50m plus €5m… while Napoli wants more.
“Osimhen, keen in return to Gala but deal depends on club to club talks. Al Hilal remain involved in the race with a plan to pay €75m clause but no agreement with Victor yet.”
Similarly, Nigerian Journalist, Buchi Laba, who is close to Osimhen confirmed that the Super Eagles striker has accepted Galatasaray’s proposal to return to the club permanently.
He wrote on X: Exclusive: Victor James Osimhen says YES to Galatasaray and wants to continue with the Turkish Team. Napoli for weeks have been pleading with Victor Osimhen to stay. Galatasaray and Napoli are currently in negotiations for the payment of his Release clause.”
Osimhen enjoyed a successful loan spell with the The Yellow-Reds with 37 goals in all competitions, winning two trophies and numerous individual awards.
