NPFL: Super Eagles goalie, Bankole to leave Remo Stars after five years

Goalkeeper Kayode Bankole is set to leave reigning Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions Remo Stars.

Bankole has been with the Sky Blue Stars since 2020.

The shot stopper’s contract with Remo Stars expired at the end of 2024-25 NPFL season.

Bankole featured sporadically for Daniel Ogunmodede’s side last season.

He lost his place to Benin Republic international goalkeeper, Serge Obassa.

Remo Stars are reportedly showing interest in Central African Republic, CAR, goalkeeper Kolimba Alladoum as a potential replacement.

Bankole is currently with the Super Eagles B Team ahead of the 2024 African Nations Championship.
