NPFL: Remo Stars confirm captain, Nduka’s move to Iraqi club Erbil FC

Remo Stars have expressed gratitude to centre-back Nduka Junior after he completed his transfer to Erbil FC of Iraq.

The club announced that an agreement in principle has been reached with Erbil FC for Nduka’s transfer.

Nduka spent seven years with the Sky Blue Stars.

The 23-year-old defender captained the team to their first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title last season.

“Seven years of making history together. The leadership quality you showed from the NNL to NPFL promotion, lifting the title, and now leaving as a club legend,” Remo Stars wrote on X.

Nduka signed a three-year contract with Erbil FC this week.
