NPFL: Don’t be complacent – Ikorodu City captain warns teammates

Ikorodu City captain, Waliu Ojetoye has warned it is important for the players not to get carried away with the team’s recent results.
The Oga Boys extended their unbeaten run in the NPFL to six following a 4-2 win over Akwa United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on
Ojetoye believed that the players need to work harder and focus on the challenges ahead.
“We should not lose our head following the recent impressive run of form in the league,” Ojetoye stated in a post-match interview.
“We need more concentration, and keep up with the momentum because there are still some teams at the top and some who are also aspiring to reach the top also.
“Ikorodu City haven’t arrive as we have more work to be done in the cause of the season.”
Ikorodu City moved to third position on the NPFL table following the win.
