NNL: Yobe Desert Stars sign 17 players for new season

Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Yobe Desert Stars have completed the signing of 17 new players for the 2024-25 season.

The new players are Zaka Bala (Elkanemi Warriors FC, Maiduguri), Amos Karami (Naf FC, Abuja), Agwaza Daniel Jnr (Gombe United FC, Gombe), Itodo Ocheme (Heartland FC, Owerri), Obinta Chima Emmanuel (ABS FC, Ilorin), Nansel Bussa (Naf FC, Abuja), Williams Micheal (Malumfashi FC, Katsina), Oladusu Kahinde (Naf FC, Abuja), Jude Benjamin (Lobi Stars FC, Makurdi), James Sunday Edeh (Zeal Minds Academy FC, Benue).

Others are Chukwuebuka Micheal (Heartland FC, Owerri), Kengwe David Gergak (Nasarawa United FC, Lafia), Samuel Kanu (MM FC, Abuja), Isiyaku Saleh Koli (Mailantarki FC, Abuja), Arinze Samuel (DMD FC, Maiduguri), Kabiru Haruna (Ayaguna) (Gombe United FC, Gombe), and Abdulmumini Mohammed (Aminu Babes FC, Maiduguri).

The players have all been registered for the 2024-25 NNL season.

Yobo Desert will kick-start their campaign with a clash against Basira FC next weekend.

The encounter will take place at the Lafia City Stadium in Nasarawa on Sunday, December 15.
