Akinade Onigbinde has resigned from his position as technical adviser of Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Doma United, DAILY POST reports.

Onigbinde managed the Savannah Tigers for three years.

The young tactician guided Doma United to Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) promotion in the 2023/24 season.

The modest side, however, suffered relegation in their maiden campaign in the NPFL.

Despite a strong showing in the NNL last season, Doma United failed to qualify for the promotion playoffs.

The Gombe-based club are expected to name a replacement for Onigbinde before the start of the new NNL season.
