Kun Khalifat FC and Osun United won their respective fixtures on the opening day of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 playoffs
Kun Khalifat defeated Crown FC 1-0, while Osun United also beat Warri Wolves with the same score line at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
Kun Khalifat FC and Osun United top Group A and B with three points respectively.
In the other games, Wikki Tourists and Doma United played out a goalless draw, while Barau FC and Yobe Desert Stars share the spoils in their game.
All the teams in the Northern Conference are on one points.
Yobe Desert Stars will be up against Doma United in the matchday two fixture, while Wikki Tourists will take on Barau FC.
In the Southern Conference, Crown FC will do battle with Osun United, while Kun Khalifat FC will take on Osun United on Monday.
