Former Super Eagles star, Daniel Daniel Amokachi, has reacted to Tammy Abraham’s move to Turkish side, Beşiktaş.

Abraham, born to Nigerian parents, plays his international football for England, his country of birth.

Amokachi spent four years at Beşiktaş, scoring 25 goals and providing 23 assists in 112 appearances.

Abraham has moved from AS Roma to Beşiktaş on loan with an option to buy included in the deal for the attacker.

The Turkish side will have to cough out a net loan fee of €2 million for the 2025-2026 season.

But they will pay the Italian side the sum of €13 million in instalments starting from the 2026-2027 season, with payments spread until 2030 if they want to keep the England international permanently.

Tammy, a product of Chelsea youth team, has played for Aston Villa, AC Milan and AS Roma

Amokachi believes the striker would be great at Beşiktaş.

Amokachi told Süperbahis: “Tammy, I see the potential in you to become the next Black Bull.”

He believes the England star would be loved by Beşiktaş’ fans in as much as he scores goals.

“You can count on that. This season is going to be something special,” he added.
