Cristiano Ronaldo has hit out at his former Real Madrid teammate, Rafael van der Vaart in response to a criticism from the Dutchman.
The Portuguese football icon responded with a savage comment after the former Tottenham star called him selfish.
Ronaldo and Van der Vaart briefly shared the pitch at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In a recent interview on talkSPORT, Van der Vaart complimented Ronaldo’s work ethic in perhaps the most bizarre way possible.
He called the former Manchester United man “selfish”, insisting that he was not happy unless he got on the scoresheet.
The Dutchman’s comments found their way to social media and caught Ronaldo’s attention.
The Al Nassr striker decided to respond with a four-word comment:
“Who is that guy?” Wrote Ronaldo on Instagram.
