Kano Man Arraigned For Alleged N800,000 Motorcycle Parts Theft

A 34-year-old man, Kabiru Isyaka, was on Wednesday arraigned before a Sharia Court in Kano for alleged theft of motorcycle spare parts valued at N800,000.
Isyaka, who resides in Darmanawa Quarters in Kano, pleaded not guilty during his appearance in court.
The prosecution, led by Inspector Abdullahi Wada, informed the court that the incident happened at Naibawa Quarters, Kano.
According to the prosecutor, the complainant, Labaran Hamza, reported the theft to the Naibawa Police Station on December 13.
The defendant allegedly broke into Hamza’s shop and stole various motorcycle spare parts, including engine blocks, cylinders, filters, spanners, and a silencer.
The presiding Judge, Malam Umar Lawal-Abubakar, ordered that Isyaka be remanded in a correctional facility and adjourned the case to January 15, 2025, for mention.
