Kaduna Gov Urges Residents To Embody Values Of Obedience, Sacrifice
Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has called on residents to emulate the spirit of giving exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Speaking shortly after observing the Eid-el-Kabir prayer with other Muslim faithful at the Sultan Bello Eid Prayer Ground on Friday, the Governor urged those blessed with wealth and means to share their blessings with the less privileged and their neighbors.
“Eid-el-Kabir commemorates the profound act of obedience and unwavering faith demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim, who was prepared to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail in submission to the command of Almighty Allah,” Governor Sani said.
The Governor emphasized the true essence of Eid-el-Kabir, which is obedience, sacrifice, compassion, and unity.
He called on citizens to reflect deeply on the sacred meaning of the festival and strive to embody these values daily.
Sani also highlighted the progress made in Kaduna State under his administration, including massive infrastructural development, revival of the health and educational sectors, and efforts to secure the state.
“I humbly ask that you continue to pray for our dear state, and the country, that Allah may continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire us as we tackle the pressing challenges of governance, development, and security,” he said.
The Governor wished all Muslims a joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration and safe journeys to those traveling home for the Sallah festivities.

“Let us also use this holy occasion to intercede and offer fervent prayers for the leadership of our great nation, especially our President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and all our leaders at all levels.
“May Almighty Allah grant them divine direction as they strive to build a righteous, peaceful, prosperous, and united Nigeria,”Governor Sani said.
