I’ve nothing against Rodri – Ronaldo names player who deserves Ballon d’Or 2024

Brazilian legend, Ronaldo, has insisted that his fellow countryman, Vinicius Junior deserved the 2024 Ballon d’Or ahead of Rodri.

Ronaldo also noted that he has nothing against Rodri for winning the Ballon d’Or ahead of Vinicius.

Recall that the Manchester City midfielder recently won this year’s Ballon d’Or ahead of Vinicius and Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham.

The Spain international scored the highest votes after winning the Premier League title with Man City and helping his country to win the Euro 2024 in Germany in the summer.

As a result, Vinicius and his Real Madrid teammates boycotted the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony.

“I’ve nothing against Rodri… but Vinicius Jr deserved to be the Ballon d’Or 2024,” Ronaldo told Marca.

“Vini was the one who had to win.”
