IFIC Conference: Access Bank wins Financial Inclusive Bank of the Year Award
Access Bank, Nigeria’s largest-growing financial institution, has been named Financially Inclusive Bank of the Year at the 2nd International Financial Inclusion Conference (IFIC).
The prestigious event hosted by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was graced by CBN Deputy Governor, Financial System Stability, Philip Ikeazor; Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), Omolola Oloworaran.
Also in attendance were Mastercard’s Country Manager and Area Business Head for West Africa, Folasade Femi-Lawal; Chairman of the Committee of e-Business Industry Heads (CeBIH) Ajibade Laolu-Adewale, among others.
Themed “Inclusive Growth: Harnessing Inclusion for Economic Development,” the conference gathered global experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss strategies for expanding financial access and fostering economic growth.
Access Bank was recognized for its role and contributions in the financial inclusion space, particularly through its expansion strategy to accommodate the unbanked communities in Nigeria whilst providing secure, fast, and digital financial solutions to customers across Africa and beyond.
Speaking on the honour, Chizoba Iheme, Group Head, Financial Inclusion, Access Bank, expressed immense gratitude to the organisers.
