I promise to develop 10 schools in Abuja – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesome Wike, has promised to develop 10 schools in the nation’s capital.

He made this pledge on Monday during a media chat.

He noted that he would direct the mandate secretary of education to kick off school development in rural areas in the FCT.

“I promise ten schools; as I leave here, I will tell the mandate secretary to set up the scheme. It will be in the rural areas”, he stated.

This comes amid a report that Wike has concentrated on infrastructural development in the FCT at the expense of other sectors.

Meanwhile, Wike noted that it is impossible to develop every sector in under two years.
