GTCO Submits 2025 Half-Year Audited Financials to CBN for Approval
Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO) has forwarded its audited financial statements for the first half of 2025 to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for review and approval.
In a filing submitted to the Nigerian Exchange, the company revealed that its board had approved the interim financial results during a meeting held on July 31, 2025.
“The interim dividend for the period was approved by the board, subject to approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria,” the company stated.
Analysts have indicated expectations that GTCO will maintain its tradition of rewarding shareholders through interim dividend payments once the CBN gives its go-ahead. Typically, listed banks are required to obtain regulatory clearance before releasing financials to the public or initiating dividend distributions.
