Nigeria’s Flying Eagles departed for Chile on Sunday to finalise preparations for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, DAILY POST reports.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side began their build-up for the biennial competition in Abuja last month, engaging in several friendly matches.

While in Chile, the Flying Eagles will play additional friendlies to fine-tune their squad ahead of the tournament.

Zubairu is expected to announce his final squad for the competition later this week.

The Flying Eagles have been drawn in Group F alongside Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Norway, opening their campaign against Norway on Monday, September 29.
