EPL: Worst decision ever – Piers Morgan gives verdict on Declan Rice’s red card

British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has given his verdict on Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice’s red card against Brighton.

Arsenal dropped their first points in the Premier League this season after playing a 1-1 draw with Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta’s side came into the game on the back of back-to-back victories against Wolves and Aston Villa.

However, they failed to beat Brighton at the Emirates Stadium.

Kai Havertz scored for Arsenal in the first half following an assist from Bukayo Saka.

The visitors then equalized in the second half, thanks to Joao Pedro’s strike after Rice was sent off for a second booking.

Rice received red after he kicked the ball away during a Brighton restart.

Reacting, Morgan, a die-hard Arsenal fan, described the Rice’s red card as the worst decision he has ever seen.

“What the f*ck was that? Declan Rice sent off for being kicked to pieces? Worst red card decision I’ve ever seen,” Morgan wrote on X.
