EPL: ‘His type is not in transfer market’ – Guardiola names irreplaceable Man City star

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has identified midfielder Rodri as an ‘irreplaceable player.’

According to Guardiola, a player like the 28-year-old is not in the transfer market.

Rodri suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage last week against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.

The Spain international has undergone surgery and will not be available again for action until next season.

“Rodri is irreplaceable for the fact that he has something that is difficult to find, but not just at Man City, all around the world,” Gaurdiola was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying on Saturday.

“If you say: you have money to buy a player like Rodri. They’re not on the market!”
